Great news. The City of Brussels has recently joined the Music Cities Network, a transnational non-profit association embracing the collaboration between and within music cities around the globe. Do you want to discover what this membership could mean for you as an artist, music professional or organization? Then join our launch event on the 24th of April at 16h30 in Beursschouwburg (Auguste Ortsstraat 20/28, 1000 Brussel):

• 16h30 – Welcome Drink
• 17h –  Introducing Music Cities Network (Lena Ingwersen)
• 17h20: Q&A on ‘UNESCO Cities of Music’ with Ghent (Albane Vangheluwe & Wim Wabbes) and Liège (Coralie Doyen)
• 17h35: Panel talk on ‘Brussels as a Music City’ with Arne Huysmans (VOLTA), Veerle Slootmans (Muzik1030), Frederik Ceulemans (Alderman in the City of Brussels) and Lena Ingwersen (Music Cities Network)

This event, along with the ongoing development of a Brussels music policy, is made possible with the support of VI.BE, the support centre for artists and the music industry in Flanders and Brussels.
