Cultural plan for Brussels

On 29 September 2009 in WIELS, Réseau des Arts à Bruxelles (RAB) and Brussels Kunstenoverleg (BKO) presented the “Cultural Plan for Brussels” to the cultural actors, the press, and other parties involved.

The cultural sector regularly gathered to determine the challenges and priority actions for the cultural landscape in Brussels. RAB and BKO initiated these gatherings and collaborated with other networks, such as the Brussels’ Museum Council. The project had financial support thanks to the King Baudouin Foundation. Two years of research, discussions, and debate led to the “Cultural Plan for Brussels”.

120 Brussels’ cultural actors worked together to formulate questions, desiderata, and concrete ambitions for themselves and for the city. The results are compiled in this Cultural Plan.
